- Vantage Point (2008) – wouldn’t watch again, but it definitely held my attention more than I antipicated

- Babel (2006) – didn’t like nearly as much as Traffic = letdown

- Avatar (2010) - Overrated, imo.
- This is It (2009) – I miss MJ :’(
- The Princess and the Frog (2009) – Disney’s first Black animated movie…long overdue!
- My Sister’s Keeper (2008) - about a girl suing her parents for medical emancipation after being genetically engineered to be used as parts for her sister with cancer. I cried…a lot.
- The Lovely Bones (2009) – No where near as good or true to the book…of course
- Precious (2009) – wow. There was absolutely nothing positive about this movie. Nothing.
- Hunger (2008) – exceptionally well-done, visually moving portrayal of the 1981 Irish Hunger Strike and it’s leader: Bobby Sands
- Julie & Julia (2009) – cute. I absolutely love Meryl Streep. This movie makes me want to step my cooking game up!
- Public Enemies (2009) – I love this era. Love Depp, Bale, and Michael Mann. Could’ve been better character development, but visually, it was a masterpiece
- The Band’s Visit (2007) – First Israeli movie I’ve seen. Very low key, relaxed feel with a universal message.
- The Hangover (2009) – Newly voted the most hilarious film I have ever watched!
- The Proposal (2009) – It’s cute. I laughed. But hey, I’m a girl – a sucker for a romantic comedy, what can I say?
- Terminator Salvation (2009) – While I love me some Christian Bale, this movie just didn’t live up to my expectations for concluding the Terminator series…whomp whomp.
- Foxfire (1996) – One of Angelina Jolie’s earlier works and very cutting edge
- Doubt (2008) – To call it a let down is the definition of an understatement.
Want to watch/anticipating release:
- Broke-ology (2009) – Play at the Lincoln Theater that is apparently turning heads. Instant success. I love live acting! Ends Nov. 22nd – yikes!
- G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra (2009) – Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let’s call this a guilty pleasure. shhhh!
- Funny People (2009) – I love comedies!
- Gone with the Wind (1939) – Only because I’ve never seen it before and I’m tired of people gasping whenever I say that.
- 21 Grams (2003) – Another pieced-together story plot and directed by the same man who directed Babel.
- Fame (2009) – I love love love Fame. Just love it!
- The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009) – I’m such a girl. I might shed a tear.
